Wax Beads - Gold

Bottle wax adds an elegant finishing touch on wine, mead, cider or beer bottles. Brew and Grow offers a myriad of colors to better coordinate wax with label designs. Wax is useful for color coordinating vintages and years the beverage was produced.

To apply wax to bottles, simply bring a saucepan of water to a boil. Place a good portion of the wax beads in a clean soup can and place can in saucepan. Wait approximately 10 minutes for the beads to melt.

Take corked or capped bottle and, holding vertically, dip the bottle into the wax a few inches up the neck.  Lift bottle from wax and rotate slowly for a few seconds to create an even seal. Wax cools and hardens quickly for a professional presentation.

Application Tip:

Wear protective work gloves and a long sleeved shirt to reduce the risk of burns from hot wax.
