Flavoring - Ginger Root 1 oz
Dried Ginger Root is far more concentrated than fresh root and requires smaller amounts to impart ginger aroma and flavor.
In brewing, adding the dried root with 15 – minutes remaining in the boil will supply optimum ginger aromas and flavors in the finished beer. 1 oz. per 5 – gallons will provide an assertive quality to the finished beer while ½ oz. offers a subtler flavor profile.
