Flavoring - Bitter Orange Peel 1 oz
Bitter Orange Peal is typically associated with Belgian styles such as Saison and Wits, adding citrus bitterness and aromas to finished beers.
Typically used in conjunction with sweet orange peels in the formulation of Wit and Saison recipes, add 3 – grams of bitter orange peel along with a 3 – grams of sweet orange peel and 7 gm coarsely ground Coriander at 15 minutes remaining in the boil. If using measuring spoons, 1 tsp each of Sweet and Bitter Orange Peel and 2 tsp. of Coriander will provide the adequate amount for creating the signature flavor in the above mentioned Belgian styles.
