Weyermann CARAAROMA is a drum-roasted caramel malt made from two-row, German barley. CARAROMA delivers notes of roasted nuts, dark caramel, died fruit while imparting deep amber and red hues to the finished beer.  CARAAROMA can also be used to add body to the beer.  Great for Amber Ales and Lagers,  Stouts, Porters, Bocks and Dunkel Lager.

For the addition of nutty flavors, deep red hues and hints of toffee in a Porter, add 4.2% CaraAroma to the grist. For the recipe, specify 67.3% UK Pale Malt, 16.8 German Dark Munich Malt, 4.2% CaraAroma, 4.2% Canadian Honey Malt, 3.2% Dehusked Carafa II, 2.1% UK Chocolate Malt and 2.1% Dehusked Carafa III. Hop with German Northern Brewer and German Tettnang for bittering at 34.9 and 8.1 IBUs respectively and 1 oz. UK Fuggle at flameout per every 5 gallons.
