Complex and high-gravity, the Imperial Nut Brown Recipe kit produces a rich, full-bodied ale with a slight chocolate and caramel flavor followed by a nutty finish. Loads of hops provide an earthy character with a hint of citrus to the specialty style, creatively balancing the malt and residual sweetness in the finished beer.
Contents of the kit include: ingredients, bottle caps, priming sugar, and brewing procedures.

Application Tip:
To upgrade the yeast to a liquid culture, purchase the Wyeast 1028 London Ale yeast separately. Providing mild fruitiness, the strain ferments bold and crisp, and is utilized in the fermentation of higher gravity beers, especially for styles of a darker hue. (Additional yeast sold separately.)
