Depending on the composition of the recipe, Windsor demonstrates moderate attenuation, leaving a bit of residual sugar in the finished beer.
For the creation of authentic English-style ales, the Windsor strain is a true English strain, producing esters and a slight fresh yeasty flavor. Beers created with Windsor are usually described as full-bodied, fruity English ales.
