To upgrade the yeast to a liquid culture, purchase the Wyeast 3944 Belgian Wit Beer yeast separately. Providing a fruitiness to complement the spices, the strain ferments dry, crisp and tart with a hint of peppery spiciness and clove. (Additional yeast sold separately.)
Alternatively, purchase the Wyeast 1214 Belgian Abbey yeast separately. Providing spicy flavor and aroma characteristics, the strain ably ferments Witbier styles, producing bright fruitiness, spice, clove and banana notes. (Additional yeast sold separately.)
