To enhance body in most styles of ale, add a small amount of Cara-pils or Carafoam to the grist, providing the unfermentable dextrins required for creating a fuller mouthfeel in the finished beer.
Alternatively, raising the mash temperature by a couple of degrees will create the dextrins needed for enhanced mouthfeel. For example, raising the mash temp from 150F to 152 F will alter the mouthfeel enough to further support hop presence in Pale ales and/or IPA’s.
