Extensively used in the kettle and for dry hopping, US Kent Goldings is the American grown version of the classic English Ale hop typically associated with all varieties of English bitter, porter, stout, brown ale et al. Characterized as smooth and delicate, UK Kent Goldings has flavors and aromas often described as floral, lavender, citrus, spice, artichoke, honey, earth, woodruff and lemon with thyme overtones, albeit inflected differently from growing conditions in the United States, including an aroma and flavor of tea, chocolate and berry.
