The Big Daddy thermometer acclimates quickly to mash or wort temperature, providing fast and accurate readings. 12” probe allows for access to more wort or mash surface area. With a large, readable display, the 2” diameter dial shows temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius.
Thermometer is easily calibrated by placing the probe in a vessel filled with finely crushed ice and topped up with cold tap water. Make sure the probe is not touching the bottom or sides of the vessel. Once probe is immersed, wait for at least 30 seconds. Without removing probe from ice water solution adjust the setscrew to 32F or 0 C.
