Keg Carbonation Kits provide the quickest and easiest means of force carbonating kegs and begin serving beer swiftly. Shipped with a Cornelius style keg lid, the kit features:
- Built in dip tube
- Ball lock gas disconnect
- 2 – feet of beverage tubing
- 0.5 – micron carbonation stone
To begin carbonating, install the Keg Carbonation Kit into the opening of a keg and simply attach a gas disconnect to the tank plug on the keg lid. Set the regulator to the desired CO2 setting and wait until desired carbonation level is achieved in the beverage.
Once carbonation is complete, depressurize the keg enough to safely remove the Keg Carbonation Kit and place the regular keg lid into the kegs opening. Attach the gas disconnect to the kegs gas tank plug and begin serving. Repeat the above procedure with a second or third keg or fourth… and soon enough all the beers in your keggerator are carbonated and ready for pouring. Simplicity never tasted so good!
For force carbonating beer while using the Keg Carbonation Kit, fill the keg with beer and the kit into the keg opening. Lower the beer temperature to approximately 36 F and attach a gas disconnect to the gas plug on the keg. To prevent the microscopic pores of the 0.5 – Micron Stone from clogging due to the oils naturally present on fingers, handle the stone while wearing latex gloves or utilize a tightly knit cloth or paper towels during cleaning and installation operations.
